It Prevails recording new album

Following several months of inactivity, It Prevails is currently in the studio recording a new album titled "Capture and Embrace." The effort is being tracked by Ryan Furlott at Rain City Audio in Tigard, OR. According to the group, "Fans can expect traits from the debut but should prepare for nonstop melody and a much more apparent technical edge." The band has self-financed the production, though a new label deal should be announced in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, It Prevails singer Ian Fike told us the following regarding their current line-up: "Our line-up is much better than when you last heard from me. We have our full-time drummer now with us - his name is 'Tannerbama,' with our long-time friend on guitar, Nick Toten, and various other friends filling the rhythms in live."
