Just one week after announcing their Victory Records debut would be called "The Death Rock Diaries", Atreyu has changed the name of the full-length to "Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses." The band states that "basically, we just like this name better." As for the record's art, Atreyu has enlisted Justin Borucki to design the artwork for the release. Borucki is primarily known for the work he's done for Most Precious Blood and Indecision. The band has written, and re-written several songs for the new record over the past few days, and reports that they "are really excited about how things are shaping up." In related news, Atreyu will be featured in the next issue of Revolver as an excerpt to a Hatebreed interview the magazine will be running. For those of you that would like to catch the band live, they will be playing one show with Bane tonight (1/25), but that will be their last show for about two or three months.
