Long story short we went on a dinner date and she thought the waitress was flirting with me. I thought nothing of it, but then when it was time to pay, she had one of those things you put the card chip in. She held it out and I kept trying to put the chip in, but I kept missing. She said "oops you missed the hole again" and started giggling and my first rational response was "well, I'm embarrassed, I NEVER miss the hole". After that smooth joke she put her hand on my shoulder and said "oh I don't doubt that" before handing me my card back. I thought it was just some innocent back and forth banter between a buzzed dude and a waitress but my wife took it otherwise. Now she won't even talk to me. It's been over 24 hours and she hasn't said a single word to me lol.
