Media Play was my spot. Long gone. Any regional or local ones y'all miss?

My favorite spot back in Albany was The Music Shack. Had all the local hardcore CDs. In CT there was a good spot in New Haven called Cutlers that closed years ago. Cool spot In Waterbury too. Old guy ran it and sold old tools out of the shop also. Weird, awesome place.

I miss media play. My friend worked there and would give me a bunch of pop rocks bar code stickers to put on items and then go through his line. So many shitty cds, and Shaw bros vhs for like .99 each. I miss that place. My mom worked at the mervyns next door too, so I would go visit her and buy gecko shirts when I went to the cd store.
So much better than Sam goody.

We had a spot that just cycled through all the chains. It was Strawberries, Coconuts, FYE, maybe even another one all at different point. Same store, they never even changed the setup. Just kept changing the name

Angelo's was my favorite in Denver along with double entendre. Wax trax was always fun too.

Disc-go-round was a cool used one. They had this old school computer where you could type in a band name or cd and it would tell you if it was in stock. This was like 1996 so that technology was amazing.

CD Jungle. They did scratch removal, and gave me promo posters/albums before they came out. Plus put on a lot of local shows
