"I am genuinely sorry for this," defendant Brendan Masi told Common Pleas Court Judge James P. MacElree II during a brief proceeding in which he pleaded guilty to charges of terroristic threats and was sentenced to two years probation. "As soon as I said all of this, I felt sick with myself," Masi, a tall, thin man with short black hair dressed in a gray suit, told the judge after entering his plea. "Basically, I used this as a defense mechanism. I don't have any firearms."
