Went to get coffee at this gas station/mart thing

And they had this computerized machine that ground beans and made your coffee right there. Like to order. Very cool. What a time to be alive.

They've had those in Greyhound Bus stations since 1989 but hey welcome to the future, pal!

I took a greyhound twice in my life and I don't remember such extravagance. The bus station in Springfield. MA where I had a layover was one of the worst places in the world.

Sacramento is probably the worst one I've experienced but every time I go there it's like 110 so that doesn't really help the experience. What a shithole

The one I got dropped off at in Schenectady, NY was tucked into the shittiest corner of the city. My friends were late and it was late at night so you couldn't go inside and wait. That was an interesting 30 mins or so. They cleaned that city up now. I'm sure it would be nice to be stuck there nowadays. Not in 2003

Yeah I used to go to port authority to get a bus when I was working on Weehawken NJ twice a week. It's like a mall in there

The bus stops out on Troost Ave and around the Paseo in Kansas City are rough.

It used to be downtown right off of K st. and yeah, it was one of the shittiest ones I've ever been to. It was right next to this liquor store that I always used to go to right at 12-1 am to buy booze before they stopped selling, and the liquor store always had free coffee that had been sitting there for about 3 days.
They closed down the greyhound station when they build the new stadium and gentrified the area. The old station I think is a parking garage now next to some apartments and right across from the stadium. The new station they moved over to the north side of downtown off of Richards Blvd. where all of the homeless camps and non-high end prostitutes are at wandering the streets. There is also a super shady strip club off of Richards just down the street from the new greyhound station.
