"Guardian"

‘Guardian’ is another collaborative effort musically written by both our guitarist Kyle and
drummer Pat. The lyrical theme focuses on what it means to bring closure to a dying family
member that was the cause of childhood trauma.

"Lower Cavalier"

Musically, ‘Lower Cavalier’ was a collaborative effort written by our guitarist Jeremy and
bassist Dan. Jeremy wanted the song structure written in a way that would tell a story rather
than building around just the chorus and verses.

The lyrical theme explores how friendships and relationships can turn sour, revealing that
those you once considered extremely close can ultimately become nothing more than a
waste of time. Lyrically, it’s almost a ‘Part II’ to our song “Revolver“ from our first EP 'Nothing
Ever Happens'.

“Doom Temple”

‘Doom Temple’ went through several musical iterations by our guitarist Kyle during the
writing process, the final draft was heavily restructured by our drummer Pat. The theme
deals with health scares pertaining to auto immune issues and in hopes of catching the
disease before any irreversible damage has been done.

“Realms of Dilemma”

‘Realms of Dilemma’ is our first song that was written completely (musically) by our drummer
Pat, which he leaned into samples and a different style of writing than our previous efforts.
This has ultimately given our sound a little more variation since everything before was mainly
written by our guitarists Kyle and/or Jeremy.

The production of Realms of Dilemma was also handled by Pat, which he handled for our
debut EP as well as this forthcoming EP 'Everything Falls Apart'. The lyrical theme focuses
on finding a balance between morality and skepticism within religion.

"Chasm Darkly"

The lyrics for ‘Chasm Darkly’ are open to interpretation, but they were written to focus on the
struggling anxiety with being present in a committed relationship and trying to be more self
aware of certain detached tendencies that have plagued past relationships.

Musically, our guitarist Kyle wrote this song with the idea to encompass a wide range of
feeling: going from heavy riffing with blast beats to epic choruses and calm bridges; without revisiting many riffs in the song. This particular song seems to be our ballad as well as a listener’s “journey”.

I'd like to start this talk off with a parable. A story, if you will. I was at a college. A second-tier... not an ivy league school, a second choice school... and I was in a class. And there was a student in that class, okay? And the teacher, he was spouting some horrible nonsense, it was something about how gender pronouns are valid - something that everybody knew was false. But if anybody had spoken up, he would've taken extreme joy in failing them. Okay? Nobody spoke up. One person raised his voice. One person started talking. The teacher couldn't believe it; the classroom couldn't believe it either. But in the end, he had logic on his side. And at the end of the day, he proved his point. That student was Ronnie Radke.
