The new Mastodon album has debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Once More 'Round The Sun, the latest studio album from Mastodon, sold roughly 34,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The tally resulted in a #6 debut on the Billboard 200 chart. Though the band's previous two albums, The Hunter and Crack The Skye, sold more in their first weeks (39,000 and 41,000, respectively), this is Mastodon's highest debut on the Billboard 200 chart. The Hunter had opened at #10.
