Official press release:
Marty Friedman kicks off the week with the premiere of "Sociopaths," a brand new track from his highly anticipated new solo album "Inferno." A lyric video for the track -- which features David Davidson (Revocation) on vocals, bass and rhythm guitar -- can be seen below:
"Inferno" -- scheduled for release on May 27 in North America via Prosthetic Records -- features what Friedman claims as "the most intense writing and playing I can do" and is his first recording in over a decade to be released simultaneously worldwide. Featuring several notable guest appearances (Jason Becker, Danko Jones, Alexi Laiho, Rodrigo y Gabriela), the album was mainly recorded in Los Angeles with engineer Chris Rakestraw (Danzig, Children of Bodom) and mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth).
