Post CommentFirst. Did Lambgoat actually just reference Asking Alexandria without insulting them. Da fuq?
jason was ONLY on the discovery and this is their fourth record ... they have: 1. The New Reign 2. A Higher Place 3. The Discovery 4. Tomorrow We Die Alive and out of all of them Jason was only on one. so this is not their first CD without Jason.
album's not bad. i think dropping to one guitarist is a bad move though.
the reviews on this site have gone to dogshit.
dropping to one guitarist makes no difference because they back track everything anyways live so they could drop to no guitarist and it wouldn't even matter.
Jason was so good they can't even pull off his shit live properly. Why he went on to join a f*ckin shitty, worthless breakdown band like Chelsea Grin is beyond me.
im sorry, this review was all too brief and did not at all delve into ANY of the negative aspects of this album as well. I am actually a fan of this band as well as a fan of this album but i too have qualms with this record. come to think of it, most people i talk to like the record but find its lacking. I call for a redo on this albums review. This one was all too brief with no body or brain. dont feel like registering. anonymity is for pussies. -Grindcorey
Why even bother having reviews on this site anymore if they're 1) a month late and 2) half-ass'd. I'd be surprised if it even took an hour to squeeze this ropey dump of a review out. Nothing about the negatives. Just a bunch of buzz-words and vague descriptions. And yeah, this is their 3rd album without Jason.
Who decided that this clusterf*ck of words was worthy of putting up as a review? This sucks BOO's dck the entire way through and even compares them to Dying f*cking Fetus?
Deathcore f*cking sucks, adding a bunch of synth nonsense to it doesn't make it any better.
Who actually listens to this? People in Tapout shirts I assume.
Rush? Dying f*cking Fetus? Are you out of your mind?! I don't know half of the shitty bands being discussed by kids these days, but a quick google proves this band has nothing to do with Rush or Dying Fetus. A quick read I this review proves you're full of shit and have no idea what the f*ck you are talking about. Stop tying to be intellectual by comparing two antithetical bands, it sounds too forced. Just f*cking write the review- its not a thesis.
This band was never, and never will be good. Save your money and buy a fleshlight or something, you recluse LG gays
This ^ there's nothing but a bunch a elitist scumbags in the comments. if you don't like the band go back to listening to your sp00000ky blak mtl.
You are all nothing but a bunch of critical f*cks. Self righteous scum bags.
Must be cool to hate on everything anymore. Id like to see what these dudes consider good music.... Lol
who wrote this interview? just the first line made me cringe.. this is their 4th album.. and the last one, the discovery, is the ONLY one richardson had any part in
new album is a step up from when they used to be Bored of Osiris
Cameron writes the drums, bass, and guitar so it doesn't matter what members are in the band.
This album is a step down from The Discovery. This album they're more straight forward to meet more people's tastes, which I think comes out as stale and generic. It's good, but its not good for them from what they have already created. I think The New Reign and The discovery are much better.
This album is a 6/10, at best. They peaked with The Discovery and now we can all enjoy the ride downhill.
Actually, they're not going downhill, they're going back up! I have heard a ton of their new song progresses and they are faaaarrrr from TWDA. They're quite amazing. TWDA is definitely not their best, but it still has its very enjoyable moments
this is a terrible album. using synths to hide the fact they have 0 originality anymore.,
