A new Inhale Exhale song is available online.
Official press release:
Post-hardcore heroes Inhale Exhale are excited to unleash new track "Carpe Diem," which is premiering exclusively today with tastemaker Revolver. The track is the second new song the band is previewing for fans in advance of the October 9th release of its anticipated fourth album, Movement, on Red Cord Records.
The track is representative of the Cleveland rockers' approach on Movement, deftly avoiding pigeon-holing, remaining aggressive and technical but balancing that with melody and songwriting chops. Lyrically, "Carpe Diem" touches on themes that run deep throughout Movement.
"'Carpe Diem' is basically about the idea the album is centered on – moving forward and keeping your head up above all the garbage the world throws at you," says guitarist John LaRussa. "It's about making the most from any situation. If it's something positive, rolling with it and remembering the good from it. If it's negative, take it and use it to make yourself stronger. We get something out of every experience, and it's up to us what we do with it."
