A source tells Rolling Stone that there will NOT be a Rage Against The Machine this summer.

Seeking clarification regarding this morning's excitement over a possible Rage Against The Machine reunion this summer, Rolling Stone spoke with a "source close to the band." Unfortunately, said source stated that the Prophets of Rage website and campaign is not specific to Rage Against The Machine:
"This is not a Rage-specific reunion. There's a lot more to it. There are a lot of moving parts, a lot of exciting news to be revealed. [However, it will include] some of the members of Rage... Whether that's one show, or five shows, I don't know. There are more announcements to come."
Take that for what you will. UPDATE: Rage Against The Machine's musicians are reportedly teaming up with members of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill for a new supergroup.
