Featuring ex-members of Harvest and Piecemeal, The Hope Conspiracy has quickly propelled itself towards the front of the hardcore movement during their brief existence. The band would initially record several tracks for a CDEP/7" on the Life Recording Company (Cataract, Bane), before joining fellow Boston units Bane, Converge, and American Nightmare on Equal Vision Records. In late-2000, The Hope Conspiracy's debut full-length, "Cold Blue," would be released. In 2001, Bridge Nine Records (Carry On, Breathe In) would re-release the band's first CDEP ("File03") along with two new tracks. The band has also toured nationwide with the likes of Converge and American Nightmare, while increasing its fanbase with their energetic and emotional live shows. Drawing influences from Unbroken, The Hope Conspiracy offers fans driving, metallic-laced hardcore with plenty of grooves and breakdowns. read less
