New York's Every Time I Die was conceptualized by brothers Keith (vocals) and Jordan (guitar) Buckley in 1998. After recruiting guitarist Andy Williams (whom Keith met on a roadside, as Andy was bludgeoning someone... really) and Ratboy on drums, the band recorded a four-song demo with a temporary bass player. Within a few months, the band joined the Goodfellow Records roster, and would eventually release its debut EP, "The Burial Plot Bidding War." ETID would then embark on numerous tours with the likes of The Hope Conspiracy, Bane, Walls of Jericho, Eighteen Visions, and Buried Alive. In 2001, the band would find itself with Ferret Music, and release its debut Ferret full-length, "Last Night In Town." Take the wit of Drowningman, the music and violence of Deadguy and the Dillinger Escape Plan, throw in some breakdowns, and you just might get a sense of Every Time I Die is about. read less
