Old World death dealers Insision return with their latest release of vile carnage, absolute moral corruption and skull splitting death metal. Coming across even more vengeful and bloodthirsty than their performance on "Beneath The Folds Of Flesh," Insision mesh the classic elements of Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Possessed, Death, and Pestilence and still manage to make their own sound. Fast, pulsating and vicious, the carnivorous hooks on "Imminent Vision," "The Unrest," "The Foul Smell Of Humans," and "The Cleansing" would make Trey Azagthoth and Chuck Schuldiner proud, while the warlike battery is filled with youthful vigor and each vocal snarl bites clean to the bone. Insision offer up ten good reasons to headbang till your spine snaps, reviving the death metal way of life that has become so lost in melody and mainstream influences. Insision doesn't become repetitive too quickly, another affliction plaguing many artists today. They refuse to let the listeners mind to be numbed; instead, the band desires the suffering to set in, spread and overtake. Mieszko Talarczyks' recording captures each hammerblow with the exact strength it was delivered with, while the cover art and booklet design embody traditional horror themes, fearful images that carry over to the lyrics, and the general grotesque atmosphere. Insision does have a few flaws in their devilish designs though. Like many death metal acts, they simply do not experiment enough. The repetitive onslaught is admirable, but a little tired. Their desire to bring back the glory days of gore is far from unappreciated by this humble critic, but most originators of the genre have surpassed their initial entries in scope, strategy and the sparks that set fire the scene on fire. The ember glows brightly for Insision, but the great blaze that is in their possession has yet to be fully realized and unleashed. Bottom Line: It's been a banner year for Earache. Top of the line talent including Decapitated, Akercocke and Deicide has the label rekindling their hot ticket status in the extreme music arena. Though "Revealed and Worshipped" is a licensed item from imprint Wicked World, Earache should be extremely proud to have these Swedish soulkillers aboard. With all the cards falling into place just right, Insision surely aren't making a bid for revolutionary recognition, though there is no doubt that the thunderous rage of "Revealed and Worshipped" is going to have a hard time remaining unnoticed.

I got this CD just a month ago and I was blown away man... totally insane and intence shit... ok its not something really NEW and super freash with polished sound and clean trigged drums and crossover music styles but its still just as rotten, dark and damp as I want it to be... Lyric wise its a f*cking pearl. no gore related stuff just deranged visions and twisted shit ahh nice... so all thumbs up for this blokes.... Its a must buy for all deathheads out there.. Evil hails!
