Official press release:

Montreal's greatest export, Despised Icon, have returned to annihilate the masses with their first DVD offering, Montreal Assault Live, which is set for a January 27th release through Century Media Records. The DVD features a stellar, multi- camera shoot from the band's sold-out hometown show, alongside a new hour long documentary and all of the band's promotional video clips. This DVD undoubtedly proves that Despised Icon are one of the most lethal live acts out there today and this affordably priced offering is a must have. Head over here now to to check out the live version of the track "The Ills of Modern Man" and to view the DVD's striking artwork.

Alex Erian (vocals) further comments: "The Montreal Assault Live DVD is finally complete! The live mix sounds so massive. It was done by none other than our former guitarist Yannick St-Amand. You can even listen to it in 5.1 Surround. Our buddy Felix also created some of his sickest artwork yet. The shooting and editing of the show went awesome. David Brodsky (In This Moment, Unearth) and his team captured tons of adrenaline packed moments. On Jan. 27th, you'll be able to relive the live action, the stage dives, the circle pits, the kicking and the screaming that made this Montreal Assault hometown show a night to remember.

"The DVD also includes a new hour long documentary by Reconstructed Media that retraces the band's career, showing never before seen footage of us living on the road, hanging out, partying, recording, playing shows back in the day and more. We'll also post a live clip from the show soon. In the meantime, take a look at the Montreal Assault pictures and new live track that we just posted on our page."
