Cancer Bats signs w/ Abacus Recordings

Abacus Recordings have added yet another band to their burgeoning roster. Officially joining the label is Canadian band Cancer Bats. According to Abacus, "Cancer Bats mix hardcore, southern metal and punk rock into a lethal rock and roll explosion." Formed in 2004, the band will release their debut album, titled "Birthing The Giant," on September 5th. The effort was produced by Gavin Brown (Billy Talent). Cancer Bats are awesome! Another great Canadian band. They sold their souls to Ray, bad idea.

i thought this band sucked. they had a bunch of hype, and when I saw them I was real let down. Never heard them recorded though. Thumbs Down!!
