I saw this coming months ago. The nexy band they will sign will be Through the Eyes of the Dead. Just watch

10/20/2004 1:23:40 PM
he isn't worthy, he tried out for limp bizkit.

I hate it how so many bands that gain a lot of deserved attention bail out on their labels.

10/20/2004 1:28:18 PM
Instead they should be growing WITH their label. Taken into consideration the fact that sometimes one party is doing more work than the other and a split is necessary, but the move to label like Metal Blade?

10/20/2004 1:28:32 PM
Come on. I just hope that if Arp had been chosen for Limp Bizkit, he would have turned down the offer and threw it in their faces.

i also hate the limitation on how many words one can comment on LAMBGOAT.

10/20/2004 1:30:39 PM
shouldn't we be encouraged to think, instead of just writing some shit like, "First Post."

10/20/2004 1:55:03 PM
yay!

10/20/2004 2:02:29 PM
This is band is nice. But nothing new, the vocal isn´t really compatible with the music and their songs has that kind of "all the same" thing.

10/20/2004 2:23:26 PM
worst band ever. end of story

10/20/2004 3:19:44 PM
good for them, great band

10/20/2004 3:57:57 PM
they should change the name of the label to "metalcore blade" since thats all they seem to be signing now

10/20/2004 3:59:14 PM
Awesome for them! Love this band.

achilous, you are right on man. months ago when i first listened to Psyopus it was evident that they were going to blow up. and i think Through the Eyes of The Dead and Reflux will both blow up real soon as well.

so many other bands deserve this much more. psyopus are such a fcking gimmick.

10/20/2004 5:04:09 PM
for the moron who said through the eyes of the dead will be signed next, that's not true. you truly are a fcking moron. metal blade has a few good bands. but they aren't good enough for through the eyes of the dead.

10/20/2004 5:05:22 PM
also what makes psyopus a fcking metalcore band? and i guarentee the amount of metal bands on metal blade beat the 4 metalcore bands on the label you fcking iddiot.

10/20/2004 5:24:52 PM
ahahah i love how people ignore the fact that the guy plays some of the most insane guitar just because he tried out limp bizkit

10/20/2004 5:36:41 PM
...its not that big of a jump, i mean...blackmarket is OWNED by metalblade...regardless, good for them.

10/20/2004 6:59:09 PM
Anout the guitars: Technical? For sure // Insane? Maybe // Criative? No. // Nice? Kind of // Very nice? Never

10/20/2004 7:13:43 PM
Psyopus is playing in Brooklyn on Sunday with Irate, Human Decline, Vext and Exit to Eternity at NorthSix for only $8. More info @ metalinjection.net

10/20/2004 10:09:49 PM
some of the tapping shit that guy does is very creative.

10/20/2004 10:38:01 PM
i think maybve the people who say they aren't creative and talented probibly can't even comprehend what they are doing. i recall the same criticism years ago for dillinger escape plan

10/20/2004 11:28:00 PM
we've played with HD, really nice dudes.

10/21/2004 1:50:42 AM
they announced this at the dover show tonight. http://www.returntothepit.com/concert.php?date=2004-10-20 pictures

10/21/2004 7:27:17 AM
shut the fck up. i'd try out for limp bizkit too, shit, with all the money and women i'd be getting. nobody's in the music business to stay poor anymore. save the pseudo-integrity for bands that put x's after/before every word in their name.

this band is pretty good. not on the same level as botch, dillinger, spiral architect, cephalic carnage, cryptopsy... metal blade is like being signed to victory though in a way... its past its prime. labels do this, they hop on trends.

10/21/2004 11:27:29 AM
theyuppiegrinder 10/20/2004 5:36:41 PM ...its not that big of a jump, i mean...blackmarket is OWNED by metalblade...regardless, good for them. THEY ARE NOT OWNED BY THEM YOU TARD. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.

10/21/2004 1:20:27 PM
why would you want to sign to a label that seems to sign every band that comes along? How many bands does metalblade have on their roster now? 96?

10/21/2004 3:37:45 PM
you people only care about "the mosh" and dont realize the business side of things or why metalblade does what they do. you obviously cant process it, but lets just say that these moves that MB has taken will def insure financial success.

10/21/2004 9:36:39 PM
Metal Blade has to be stupid. They are now making Psyopus believe they are pulling it off as a band. Worst Vocals Ever and they try too hard to be crazy. I'm a fan of the style they try to do, but not a fan of theirs.

10/22/2004 9:10:59 AM
so, is metal blade gonna buy out Black Market Activities? They're taking all their bands

10/22/2004 8:04:35 PM
He tried out for Limp Bizkit? What a gay.

10/24/2004 8:26:10 PM
Blackmarket gets DISTRO through Metal Blade. Chris Arp won the LB contest and guitar center guitarmageddon. That being said, Psyopus is technical as hell but has absolutely ZERO concept of conherent songwriting.

10/24/2004 8:26:58 PM
that should be *coherent
