Monday, July 12, 2004 3:00 PM PT

German metal/hardcore band Caliban has now signed a worldwide deal with Roadrunner Records. The group has previously released material with Prosthetic Records and Lifeforce Records, and recorded a new album with Anders Friden (of In Flames) early this year. Look for their Roadrunner debut to hit stores on September 20, and on October 5th in the U.S. via a licensing deal with Abacus Recordings.

Roadrunner will destroy them. Oh well, at least I can still listen to Vent/Small Boy before their musical demise.

Maybe this is the sign of a major rebuilding process for Roadrunner (I hope). Get the label back to the way it was in the deicide/sepultura days.
