Ice Nine Kills bassist leaves band, joins Motionless In White

Saturday, March 23, 2019 1:13 PM PT

After spending the past six months filling in for Motionless In White, Ice Nine Kills bass player Justin Morrow has now joined the MIW on a full-time basis. As such, Morrow has parted ways with Ice Nine Kills, who in turn have added Joe Occhiuti (ex-Venetia Fair) to their line-up.

Motionless In White had this to say:

"As many of you know, for the past few months we have be performing with our very close friend Justin Morrow, who has been filling in for our vacant bass player position. After much time spent between our band and Justin, and seeing the support of many fans who have watched him perform with us, we are honored to announce that he has made the decision to join us full time as our new bass player. He has been a perfect fit both on and off stage and we could not be happier to enter our new album cycle feeling complete once again. For more information from Justin directly, please visit his IG @Justiniceninekillerz, and for our friends in Ice Nine Kills, please visit their Facebook page to read their announcement. As always, thank you for your support, and we'll see you on the road this year."

Meanwhile, Ice Nine Kills issued the following statement:

"Over the last 6 months our bass player, Justin Morrow, has been filling in for Motionless In White. After much consideration, we have mutually decided to part ways and Justin will be moving forward as the bass player for Motionless in White. We are excited for Justin and wish him nothing but the best! Meanwhile, we are pleased to announce that filling Justin's shoes will be ex-Venetia Fair member pianist/vocalist, Joe Occhiuti, who co-wrote some of 'The Silver Scream' and who has been a part of the extended INK family for many years. Joe brings with him an extensive multi instrument musical background and will not only be taking over bass duties, but will be contributing keys and back-up vocals, breathing even more insanity into the INK live show. We'll see you on the road all Spring on the 'March Into Madness' and 'Episode III' tours!"

A band named after a variation of a 18 v song ( a really bad song by a really bad band).

A band with a name that sounds like a wigger core band circa 1998, you know that random cassette demo you have. Probably has a guy with big pants, grabbing a mic, sideways hat, typical mid 90s shitty graffiti (25talife's logo to hc kids is the best graffiti letters ever. You think it's a rap band but it's the worst grove metal ever capped by a retards representation of dog eat dogs vocals.

I'm sure the mutual decisions was like, "Hi, guys, I'm making way more money over here doing this thing, so unless ya think we're gonna get popular, gonna have to reevaluate."
Band; "sure we'll let you leave."

both bands suck but Ice Nine Kills is definitely more popular than Motionless now. Bassist must be sucking off one of the goths in MIW.
