Defeater prepare to release new album

Monday, March 04, 2019 8:37 AM PT

Melodic hardcore band Defeater appear to be getting ready to release a new album, their first since 2015's Abandoned. Details have yet to be revealed, but it looks as though the record was tracked last summer with producer and engineer Will Yip (Quicksand, Blacklisted) at his Studio 4 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. You can check out a teaser below.

smart of them to hurry up and capitalize on the awful rehashings of melodic hardcore that are gonna come up after this Have Heart reunion!

Didn't Maas get kicked out for being a sketchy piece of shit ? Good on them for trying to carry on without the guy. Hoping this is better than their last couple records.

Remember when Will Yip talked about how he had literally recorded 128 separate guitar tracks for ONE Code Orange song? Super punk if you ask me.
