High On Fire accept Grammy Award

The 61st Grammy Awards are taking place today at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA and prior to the network TV broadcast, winners of the less prominent categories were announced during the pre-ceremony broadcast. Not surprisingly, the award for "Best Metal Performance" was presented before to the primetime show.

Regretful circumstances aside, congratulations to High On Fire for winning the "Best Metal Performance" category for their track "Electric Messiah."

Nominees in the category included High On Fire, Between The Buried And Me, Deafheaven, Trivium, and Underoath.

AILD next year? Lol - good one. No way they take it with the stuff Zao is putting out these days. Zao (old and new) > than anything AILD has ever done.

Knock off Motorhead cucks. Shit died 20 years ago. Brought to you by a music elitist jerk. BtBaM are the real daddys. They can condemn me to their gallows any day ;)

AILD has been blackballed by the grammys dumbass.

also without being on Metal Blade they won't have the clout to even get in the door anyway

zao hasn't been in nominated because they make art, not commercial weight lifting music

congrats on winning some meaningless award given by people who have no clue what they're even listening to and begrudgingly award it during happy our while everyone's out in the lobby because they have to, not because they really want to or care.
