ABR is just as 'old' as AILD. mid 00s tier 1 metalcore. i'm cool with the zao comment but don't try and beast on Tim. you sound like a commoner

No, by those standards AILD would be late 90s/early 00s metalcore when they sounded like Zao. Tim was in Society's Finest which was late 90s. That was his scene. August Burns Red is a clear 5-7 years younger. Their first band was August Burns Red which they started in high school. Late 00s metalcore, and actually a real band.

AILD tier one masterpieces were shadows are security and an ocean between us. 2005 and 2007 right in the thick of mid 00s metalcore. ABR releases thrill seeker and messengers during same years. you are splitting hairs

tier 1 - AILD, KSE, ABR, ATR, ETID, shadows fall, parkway drive

tier 2 - unearth, god forbid, trivium, norma jean, chimaira, evergreen terrace, haste the day, still remains, misery signals, the agony scene, throwdown, it dies today, beneath the sky, walls of jericho
