Counterparts, Fit For An Autopsy, etc. 'supergroup' debut song

Friday, August 4, 2017 2:41 PM PT

END band 2017

Last fall we told you about a new project purported to include Brendan Murphy (Counterparts), Will Putney (Fit For An Autopsy), Jay Pepito (Reign Supreme, ex-Blacklisted), Greg Thomas (ex-Misery Signals, ex-Shai Hulud), and Andrew McEnaney (Structures, Trade Wind).

Details regarding the project still have yet to be divulged, however, the band is called END, and their debut single (titled "Usurper") can be streamed below.

Small amount of blood rushed to my penis whilst listening to this song. Keep doing what you're doing 'supergroup'. I look forward to listening to your album once on Spotify.

END? Really? Better change your band name before you get slapped with a cease and desist

I'd rather listening to Catholic radio than this hot mess.

Ex-Shari Hulud is roughly 1/8th of the US population at this point.

The End was better

^^^^^^^

That's like saying The End is better than AIDS. Yes, it's better than something truly pathetic but it's not good. Relapse tried breaking those dude into a mainstream band over the course of three LPs and it never happened. The southern U.S. hated this band. Maybe Canada and the Northeast did but no one else.

There is nothing about this band and its members which qualify on any spectrum as a Super Group. Zero.

When a current member of one band takes part in or forms another band and proceeds to basically produce the exact same music, vocals, etc as in the current group, what's the point of doing it? For WP, he's just canabalizing songs he would/could use for FFAA, and he's not going to tour with this new project, either - so it's redundant.

2 warped tour bands are considered a supergroup these days? ouch.

so 'counterparts' and 'ffaalskjdf' are somehow the headlining super part of the group over the other associated bands like shai halud, misery signals, and blacklisted on the headline..... ? *scratches head*. seems like you'd probably get more clicks, and make it seem more credible adding those other actual 'classic' bands to the headline webby. just saying.......

Listing Counterparts and FFAA in the headline but not Blacklisted, Shai Hulud, Reign Supreme, or Misery Signals has got me like ????????????????
