Wednesday, February 01, 2017 7:55 AM PT

Ben Lionetti and Joe Lionetti, who co-founded Emmure with Frankie Palmeri in 2003 (they both quit in 2009), have launched a new band titled Lakeshore.

The Connecticut group's debut, titled 41, was recorded by Ken Susi (Unearth, The Contortionist) and will be available in mid-March. Later this month, Lakeshore's first single and music video will make its online debut. For now, you can check out a preview below.

Don't even try to tell me that these guys aren't still in deep wth Franklin and that the interview brouhaha a few days ago wasn't a publicity move

Does Ken charge a lot?? I really don't know why anyone would want to record with him.

Matt Fox here. This band of emotional core metal as the kids call it is more disgusting than a certain fcking disgusting burrito I shared with our merch guy back at a gas station in Omaha in 96 with Coalesce.

Frankie Is looking like the man. The new Emmure/glass cloud band is atleast staying true to their origin. I actually think Emmire sounds the best Since goodbye to Gallows Now.

Stupid old's just stop. There is no metalcore revival. This garbage should go back to 2008 and stay there

anonymous

That guitar move is a lot older than 2011. You must've just graduated high school

I have high hopes for this album. Don't judge the entire album from just a short 20 second clip. I have faith that it'll be a good mix of melodic vocals and bone crushing guitar riffs. Hopefully the lyrics and overall sound production is mature and not made to cater to hot topic/ trendy kids.

Emmure went to shit pretty much after Felony and it's pretty obvious why. Glad those two dudes are making music again.

If this is Ken Sushi's recording quality, no one should ever record with him. Garbage.
