Lamb Of God exit European tour due to security concerns

Thursday, November 19, 2015 10:22 AM PT

Citing security concerns in the wake of the terrorist attacks in France, Lamb Of God has dropped of their European tour with Children of Bodom and Sylosis. The news comes via Children of Bodom, who issued this statement:

"Lamb of God has chosen to leave the European tour due to security concerns in Europe. Our team has been working very hard to make all of the remaining shows happen. We want to, and have decided to, continue on the road and play the rest of the tour. Here is what we know so far. Unfortunately the promoter has decided to move forward and cancel tonight's show in Oberhausen, Germany, and the additional shows in Germany.

"At this time, the remaining schedule will move forward as this (we ARE looking to add more shows FYI). We WILL keep you updated as we have changes, and we are doing our best to keep you informed as quickly as possible on everything."

UPDATE: Lamb Of God has now issued this statement:

"Due to concerns brought to our attention by the venue security team yesterday in Tilburg - and continued general concerns across Europe - we have decided against putting our fans, our crew and ourselves in this position night after night and will be canceling the remainder of our performances in Europe. This is a decision we are making on behalf of the fans, our crew, and our band, as well as the well-being of everyone's family, friends and loved ones at home. Stay safe, and we will see you very soon."

Good. Europe has essentially killed itself with open borders.

But more importantly, ARE THE FVCKING DEFTONES OK?!?!

I too would leave the continent that listened to ISIS openly state they were going to infiltrate Europe through the migrant hordes and then said "yes infinite refugees plz". A bit late to secure the borders after hundreds of thousands if not millions of undocumented peoples just waltzed into Europe for their free goodies.

cowards

considering you have a murderer in your band, you're better fit to take on the terrorist threat than anyone else i can think of. but instead you tuck your tail between your legs and run back home? pathetic.

Some serious cowardess, guys. This is the kind of thing I would expect Lamb of God to brag that they DIDN'T do.

If ISIS wants to knock off lamb of God, they will come to the states and do so.... We can only hope. Fingers crossed.

Reminds me of something that baptist pastor from Arizona said that seems quite fitting; "hillbilly gays!"

It's a sad day for your manhood when the lead singer of Children of Bodom demonstrates to the world he has a bigger pair of huevos.
