The Last Ten Seconds Of Life drop off tour

Saturday, August 23, 2014 7:56 AM PT

On the heels of Oceano's announcement that they have dropped off "The Heavier Than Heavy Tour," The Last Ten Seconds Of Life have done the same. Tour headliner I Declare War had the following to say:

"The Last Ten Seconds of Life just got word of a very serious family medical emergency and need to go home immediately to be with their loved ones during this time. The shows so far on the tour have been fucking amazing and we will be finishing out the rest of the tour with Barrier and Invent, Animate. Come on out, bang your head and let's do some shots!"

In other words, bands get tired of playing for rooms with 30 people tops and drop off tour. That's probably 30 people including the other band members. Your scene is dead. Give it up. Kids don't give a shit anymore, why should you?

I went to the Austin show at Red 7 tonight. There was somewhere between 100-150 people there. Barrier was cool. The show ended early after a brawl broke out during I Declare War. That band has that "we're about to break up" stench about them.
