Tuesday, August 07, 2012 7:43 AM PT

Official press release:

Victory Records has announced the signing of St. Louis, Missouri's metalcore outfit, Tear Out the Heart. Watch the announcement video here:

Tear Out the Heart formed in 2011 and unanimously agreed that when this lineup had gotten together in one room, it was instant energy and everything just clicked. From that day on the rest was history. Tear Out the Heart combines sinister vocals with elements of hardcore and metal that creates malicious guitar riffs along with monstrous breakdowns that will have you hooked instantly. Their music can be compared to the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men and As I Lay Dying.

Tear Out the Heart are highly ambitious and have set major goals for their future. The group plans to record a debut full length album and shortly after take over the world one show at a time.

The band name is a nice allegory to what Tony Brummel has done to the bands he's signed to Victory, how fitting

Why do bands continue to sign with Victory? I imagine if you're good enough to some sort of shitty demographic you could sign elsewhere, and nearly every band that has ever been on Victory hates it.

not a single original thing about this.

and you would think bands would know by now not to sign to Victory. these guys will get exactly what they deserve. used up and thrown out by Tony Brummel.

Good thing they signed to victory. Hopefully that fat ass Tony will screw them over so bad that they'll put out one album and call it a day. Of course, these guys are going to sell like crazy.

It's always a spectacle to see what talentless garbage victory will sign next.

That was one of the worst write-ups that I have ever read. I wasn't going to listen to this in the first place but I'm definitely not listening to it after that abortion of a press release.

so these guys like to post pictures of how much money they are making selling their ep on the little tour they just did and they owe a couple people money for services that they did for the band and then they turn around and say they are broke...
