Devildriver signs with Napalm Records

The entire Napalm Records crew is honored to announce that American groove-metal powerhouse Devildriver has joined their ranks.

The legendary Los Angeles metal outfit, who has released a string of hard-hitting and ass-kicking albums since the early 2000s, have signed a worldwide record deal with the Austrian label. After 10 years of forging high-class metal songs and endless touring all over the world, the band - revolving around charismatic and legendary frontman Dez Fafara - is more alive than ever, and Napalm Records is proud that the band and label will work on another chapter in that illustrious and successful career.

A new Devildriver album is tentatively scheduled for a release in 2013 - get ready for a merciless rampage of monstrous grooves and brutal riffs!

This whole article is like putting them up on a pedestal. It's groove metal for Christ's sake.. Pantera did this shit to death 15 years ago.. album will probably be average.

These guys never change their sound. Every album supposedly "blows away" the last. But sadly they all just "blow".

i love these guys, but they should've went with labels like century media or metal blade, napalm records isn't and never will be a big deal, i love devildriver and all their music, and i can't wait for this new album, but this move wasn't really a smart one. oh well, congrats anyways, i guess.
