Prosthetic Records signs The Greenery

Thursday, March 03, 2011 2:39 PM PT

Official press release:

Prosthetic Records is proud to announce the signing of Long Beach, CA-based miscreants, The Greenery. The band, whose brand of snotty, metallic hardcore punk rock has drawn comparisons to Every Time I Die, The Bronx, Discharge and the Stitches, are recording their full-length debut at BuzzBomb Studio in Orange, CA now with Paul Miner (Terror, H2O, Death By Stereo); the band previously self released an EP.

Since forming in 2007, the band has toured the entire US several times and has countless regional runs under their belt. They will be out later this month on the "Road to Metal Fest Tour," along with Lionheart, Legend, The Great Commission and Monsters. The tour will take them to Jamboree Fest in Toledo, OH and end at New England Metal and Hardcore Fest in Worcester, MA. The band will then do dates back to California on their own.

The band commented: "We're extremely honoured to be a part of such a great label and team at Prosthetic Records. We've been tracking the new album with Paul Miner at BuzzBomb Studio and we couldn't be any happier with the chemistry and the form this monster is taking so far. Without all of our friends, fans and family none of this would be possible. See you guys on the road."

Check out tracks from their EP and video footage and get more info on the band on the band's Facebook page.
