Official press release:

Midwestern metal warriors Skeletonwitch, who have performed more than 300 concerts worldwide since the release of their acclaimed 2007 Prosthetic Records debut "Beyond The Permafrost," will release their new album "Breathing The Fire" on October 13th. The album, produced by Jack Endino (High On Fire), is currently being recorded in Seattle at both Studio Litho (Deftones) - owned by Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard - and Endino's own Soundhouse Recording. A picture of the band with Endino appears can be found here.

"It's exciting to hear the new material coming to fruition," says guitarist Scott Hedrick. "Working with 'Full Metal' Jack Endino is killer. He's fucking amazing at what he does, and he's a real mad scientist in the studio!"

Adds guitarist Nate Garnette, "Things are going well in the studio. We just finished tracking the drums, which are sounding fucking great. Now it's time for the guitars!"

In the coming weeks, Skeletonwitch will post a series of behind-the-scenes videos documenting the recording process. After tracking is completed, the group will headline the two-week "Stone Dead For Summer" tour, which also features Saviours and Trap Them and kicks off in Seattle on July 9. The band will then team with Children Of Bodom for a fall tour, which commences Sept. 18 in Providence, RI.
