Friday, November 21, 2008 1:47 PM PT

Pennsylvania metal band Believer has joined the Metal Blade Records roster. Originally formed in 1986, the group released material with Roadrunner Records (among others) prior to disbanding in 1994. In 2005, members of the band began working on new material, and effectively announced Believer's return in 2007.

The group's latest album is currently being mastered and will hit streets in early-2009.

RobertRedford: Yes, the album was co-produced by the dude from Believer. Also we must mention that JIM WINTERS (Turmoil, Conviction, The Promise) played bass on a Believer record and helped write..
