The Minor Times breaking up

The Minor Times will reportedly be disbanding this winter. An official explanation has yet to be issued, but the group will likely play a few final shows in addition to releasing their limited 7" split with Rosetta via Relapse Records. Formed in late-2001 from the ashes of Inkling, the Minor Times has released material with Prosthetic Records, Hex Records, and Level Plane Records. Update: Less than two hours after our announcement, the group issued this statement: "We're sad to announce today that the band is coming to an end. No bad blood or anything of that nature was involved in this decision; it's simply time for us to move on. We'd like to thank everyone who was kind enough to support us through this amazing six year run. The last two songs we wrote as a band will be available early next year via a split 12" with Rosetta on Relapse Records. We'll also be playing one final show in our hometown of Lansdale, PA. Details for that should follow shortly."

I love this band. This is a shame, but I heard them on their tour with Engineer mention a few times that they were done soon. Something about going back to school at least for one member I believe.
