On the heels of their reunion show announcement (see details below), Taken has also announced plans to release a B-sides collection.

"This Is Forever: A Taken B-Sides Collection" will see a domestic release via Goodfellow Records in March while Falling Leaves Records in Japan will release the collection in Japan. This release features the band's original 1998 demo, their seven-inch and various unreleased and live material.

"It is strange after a few years that while Taken was a very small blip on most people's musical radar's, the interest still remained for the band. The passion that people have shown me and the rest of the band is something that we could have never imagined" says vocalist Ray Harkins.

"We are beyond excited to reunite for a show in Southern California and even a few in Japan. It's been quite a while since our last show and it will be good times to all get back together to play some music. Looking forward to seeing lots of old friends and familiar faces" says guitarist Chad Tafolla about the reunion shows.

The band plans on playing a one-time reunion at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California on March 8th 2008. Immediately following the band is traveling to Japan for a reunion tour with Evylock from March 13th-18th.

The line-up for the reunion shows is as follows:

Troy Born - Drums
Erik Bensberg - Guitar
Chad Tafolla - Guitar
Nick Beard - Bass
Ray Harkins - Vocals
