The Secret prepares to record new album

Trieste, Italy based metal quartet The Secret has confirmed details for the recording of their second full-length album. Next week the band will travel from Italy to Sweden to record with producer Magnus Lindberg at Tonteknik Recordings (Refused) in Umea. Magnus is well known for his recording prowess and is also a member of the band Cult Of Luna.

The Secret's upcoming sophomore album will be entitled Disintoxication. The album will contain ten new songs, including "Funeral Song", "Saul", "In Limbs", "Death To Pigs" and "Inferno." Demo versions of two songs from the record can be heard online now at the band's Myspace page. The new album will be released on Goodfellow Records in early-2008.

The members of The Secret will be posting updates from the studio via their Mspace page throughout the next couple of weeks.
