Curl Up And Die loses bassist

Geoff, the bassist of Curl Up And Die, has left the group. Here's a statement from Geoff: "After spending the best 3 years of my life with Curl Up And Die, I can't commit to the band anymore. I have to focus on my job and my financial responsibilities both of which have been jeopardized by my commitment to the band up until this point. Hardcore hasn't seen the last of me, I still plan on being very active in the scene, but I just cannot commit to a touring band anymore. Curl Up And Die will keep going and I will support them as much as I can in everything they do. This wasn't an easy decision for me, nor was it based on personal opinions of anyone in the band, I just feel that it is the right decision at this point in my life." Geoff's departure is not expected to affect the band's upcoming plans. They will be heading to Boston in early November to begin recording their Revelation Records debut. Following the recording process, they plan on searching for a new bass player. Serious inquires regarding the open bassist position can be sent to curlupanddie@ureach.com.
