Hot Cross calls it quits

Philadelphia's Hot Cross has apparently disbanded. No official statement or explanation has been provided beyond the following: "Hot Cross RIP. Thanks for everything. We are indefinitely inactive as of 7/6/07. No reason to get into why this is happening. Just know we appreciate your support over the last seven years." Formed in 2000, the band put out several releases with drummer Greg Drudy's own Level Plane Records prior to releasing a full-length with Equal Vision Records earlier this year.
