Floridian metal band Into The Moat will play their first show in eight months on Friday in Miami. The show will give the band an opportunity to debut their new bass player, Nick The Greek. According to Into The Moat drummer Matt Gossman, "Nick is one of the sickest bass players in south Florida, and a damn fine recording engineer too. He's a great dude, and I know every band that's been through a million line up changes says the same thing, but I really think we are a stronger band now than ever before."

Meanwhile, the group continues to write their next full-length. Several pre-production demos have already been recorded and the band will track the effort in December with producer/engineer Erik Rutan at the helm. Regarding the new material, Gossman adds, "I truly think we're onto some original stuff here."
