Codeseven to record new album in December

Codeseven will be entering the studio December 6th to record their new full length album. Alex Newport (Fudge Tunnel, Nailbomb) will be flying to NC to engineer the new record. His list of work includes: Codeseven will be entering Mitch Easter's Fidelitorium Studios (REM, Pavement) near Winstom-Salem to begin recording their next full-length album. One of our old favorites, Alex Newport (Fudge Tunnel, Nailbomb) will be engineering the the new record. Newport's portfolio includes work for At The Drive In, The Melvins, and Spetultura. Here's a quote from the band: "With more than half the record completed it's easy to tell that this will be a drastic change when compared to 1999's Divsion Of Labor. Taking more than two years off from writing really gave the band a chance to develop and mature as songwriters which has created a unique and more experimental sound." Look for the new record to hit stores in February of 2002 through The Music Cartel.
