High On Fire will enter the studio in late-May to record their follow-up to "Blessed Black Wings." High On Fire will be teaming up with producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Mudhoney) for what will be the band's the fourth studio album. Recording is set to take place at Avast II, while mixing will move to Soundhouse Studios. The still as-yet-untitled record will see an early-fall release via Relapse Records. This will be the first High On Fire album to feature new bassist Jeff Matz (Zeke). The band has been debuting new material as part of their recent regional dates and has announced a handful of Northwest shows leading up to recording: 4/20 Oakland, CA @ Soundwave Studios 5/10 Eugene, OR @ WOW Hall 5/11 Tacoma, WA @ Hell’s Kitchen 5/12 Bellingham, WA @ Nightlight Lounge
