Rivalry Records signs Soul Control

Rivalry Records has officially signed Rhode Island hardcore band Soul Control. The label comments: "Playing heavy, driving, rhythmic hardcore influenced by Bad Brains, Burn, Bane, 108, Strife, Quicksand, this band is a reflection of a time when hardcore had much more compassion, awareness, and accountability." The group's new 7" will be available on May 15th, while a split 7" with I Rise and another 7" EP will follow. Rivalry will then release a ten-song CD featuring the tracks from all releases.
