Junius prepares new releases

Boston rock act Junius has announced plans for a brand new 7 inch, being co-released by Radar Recordings and Anchorless Records, due out on May 1st. The vinyl-only release, entitled "The Fires of Antediluvia," will consist of two brand new songs, clocking in at nearly 14 minutes. The effort was recorded by PJ Goodwin and mastered by Nick Zampiello (Isis, Converge). The first pressing will be limited to 500 numbered copies, featuring silk-screened artwork and five different shades of vinyl. Radar and Anchorless will begin an internet-only pre-sale in mid-April. Following their Spring tour, Junius will enter the studio to record their full-length follow up to last year's "Blood Is Bright" EP. Radar Recordings will also be co-releasing a remastered edition of Junius' first 2 EPs on CD and vinyl with S.A.F. Records this Summer. Junius will embark on a full headlining European tour this Fall to support the European CD/LP release, which will be distributed by Cargo Records.
