Prosthetic Records signs Skeletonwitch

Cleveland metal band Skeletonwitch has officially signed a deal with Prosthetic Records. Fresh off self-releasing their "Worship The Witch" EP (view Lambgoat's review here), the forthcoming Skeletonwitch release will be produced by Cory Smoot (Municipal Waste, Gwar) in June and comes on the heels of a previous full-length and an EP, in addition to persistent touring. Regarding their sound, the band declares, "Imagine a young Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Exodus slamming beers and cranking up Immortal records at a rager in 1985. Just when you think the keg is killed, Judas Priest joins the party with a fresh case of beer." The new album is expected to hit stores this fall. In the interim, you can hear some of their current material here.
