Tool and Fantomas, Patton and DEP?

Fantomas will be opening for Tool on the East Coast and in the South between Sept. 22nd and Oct. 7th. The band recently released their Director's Cut album which surprisingly landed on the Billboard charts. In related news, Mike Patton and his side-project Peeping Tom are currently in the studio working on new material. Look for a Peeping Tom record in stores during the second half of 2002 on Reprise Records. Another Patton project, Tomahawk, is scheduled to release an album on October 31st followed by an American tour in November. Here's a quote from the label regarding the album: "The record is great!!! It is a real rock record. Some people who were FNM fans but can't digest Fantomas will be pleased." Finally, Mike Patton has spoken to the guys from Dillinger Escape Plan about recording an EP with them, but nothing has been confirmed.
