In April, European metalcore band Knut recorded a brand new CD, an album that will be a follow-up to 1997's "Leftovers" MCD (released on their own label Snuff Records www.snuffrecords.com) and to the "Bastardiser" album, originally put out by Snuff in 98, then by Chrome Saint Magnus (Systral, Mörser, Breach) on vinyl in 1999 and most recently by Hydra Head Records in the US. The forthcoming album consists of 9 new songs and was recorded and mixed in their hometown Geneva by Serge Morattel, also responsible for Knut's 1999 DIY EP/Ordeal 7inch, as well as Shora and Brazen's MCDS. In touring news, Knut will embarking on their first U.S. tour in the form of a 3 week stint with Isis and The Thrones from August 6th through the 29th.
