As I Lay Dying singer starts record label
As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis recently started his own label, High Impact Recordings. Not suprisingly, the label will be an imprint of Metal Blade Records. High Impact's first signing is California metal band, A Love Ends Suicide (the signing was originally announced here). Commenting on his new label and initial signing, Lambesis states: "After being on tour for the past five years, I decided I should start a record label as I've met so many amazing musicians and I know this is the right way to give exposure to those bands I believe in. I've been given an amazing opportunity to work with Metal Blade on the release of some upcoming records and I'll now be teaming up with the same people that have put their hearts behind As I Lay Dying and I'm very honored to be doing so. A Love Ends Suicide is a band that I've wanted to work with for a while and will now be the first band released through Metal Blade/High Impact." A Love Ends Suicide's new album, "In The Disaster," will hit stores on September 5th. For now, you can check out some material from the release here.
