The Secret looks to replace guitarist

Saturday, July 08, 2006 11:36 PM PT

The Secret has parted ways with guitarist Daniele Di Luca and is in search of a replacement. Here's a statement from the band:

"A couple of days ago our guitarist Daniele Di Luca decided to leave the band for personal reasons. We prefer not to go deeper into this but we respect his choice and wish the best for him. The band will go on, won't cancel any of the shows booked for the summer, and will continue writing songs for our upcoming Goodfellow Records full-length.

We're now officially looking for a replacement so if you think you can handle that just drop us a line on our Myspace page.

Here are the requirements:

- Must own professional and reliable equipment
- Must be willing to practice on a regular basis (at least 2-3 times a week). We practice in Trieste, Italy, so if you don't live in the surrounding area you must be able relocate here
- Must be willing and able to tour as much as possible
- Must have a professional work attitude even because we're pretty sick of changing members now

Many things will happen soon, we're working on a new album and an extensive North American tour, so if you don't think you can handle it, please don't waste your time writing us. If we don't find anyone soon, we will continue the band as a four piece with just one guitar and some more cabinets."
