Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Dimitri Minakakis quits band

Due to personal reasons, Dimitri Minakakis, lead singer and co-founding member of the Dillinger Escape Plan, has left the band to pursue non-music related endeavors. Both Dimitri and the rest of the band would like to make it very clear that this parting is 100% mutual and amicable; and in no way due to dysfunction between members. He has always been, and will continue to be, part of everything that this band does. Please note that the Dillinger Escape Plan has not broken up. In the meantime, the band will be going on a small hiatus until a new singer is in place. There will be one more show with the current lineup including Dimitri, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
