Punk/metal legends D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) have cancelled their upcoming U.S. tour with Subzero. According to a statement released by the group's booking agent, D.R.I. guitarist Spike Cassidy was recently "diagnosed with colon cancer and was operated on three weeks ago. Sadly the concern is that [the cancer] spread and the medical treatment is [required immediately] and it prohibits any touring for the remainder of the year at least." The tour was scheduled to kick off May 22nd in Seattle, WA.
We wish Cassidy well.
