3 Inches Of Blood demos songs w/ Slipknot drummer

3 Inches Of Blood recently recorded several new demo tracks in Seattle. The tracks were produced by Slipknot drummer, Joey Jordison. According to Roadrunner Records A&R man Mike Gitter, "Joey is a huge fan of [the band] and actually wanted to produce their Roadrunner debut, Advance and Vanquish. Not only that but he also toured with them when [they] played with Satyricon, for whom Joey was filling in on drums." The demo tracks were tracked by engineer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden) and are the first recordings by 3 Inches Of Blood's touring line-up of bassist Brian Redman, guitarists Shane Clarke and Justin Hagberg, and drummer Alexei Rodriguez. Here are the song titles: - "Night Marauders" - "Goatriders' Horde" - "Assassins of the Light" - "Black Spire" Jordison has also signed on to produce the group's next album, slated to be recorded early this fall.

hopefully jordison will do as good of a job as kernon did on Advance...call them Maiden ripoffs all you want...noone else is writing riffs as traditional, except maybe Pharoah

While his main band may not be all that great, it'd be tough to not recognize the talent that Joey Jordinson has for drumming. Dude is wrecking ball behind a kit. It'd be great if he dumped Slipknot for a new, more metal band.
